Overview:

After a complimentary pick-up from your resort and ravel a short distance to Sigatoka Town where the driver will head inland. Surrounded by the rich, fertile lands of the Sigatoka Valley the Guide will give you a commentary about the region and its agricultural significance, while you relax and take in the beauty of the area.

From there you will hop-on board the jet boat surrounded by mountains on all sides. The entire group are supplied life jackets and a safety briefing before heading off on a unique Fijian adventure up the Sigatoka River. On the ride up the river you will see lush green vegetation, Fijian people going about their daily lives, and amazing waterfalls. After a memorable trip up the river, you will arrive at the highlight of the tour, the village, welcomed by the genuine warmth of the Fijian people.

After a short stroll from the river to the village, you will make your way to the Chiefly house to present the sevusevu (offering) of Yaqona (kava). This traditional kava ceremony is accorded to all visiting dignitaries and guests. Once the ceremony is complete you'll enjoy a tour of the village and you will see first hand how Fijian villagers live - from the kitchen to the daily chores,. The tranquility of the area is nothing but spectacular. The village Guides will then escort you to the community hall for a light Fijian lunch. After lunch the villagers wil entertain with a few songs and dances,before heading back down the river on your jet boat.

Timings: Morning tour departs at 8:30am and the afternoon tour departs at 1:00pm.

Cancellation Policy is as follows, any cancellation made within 24hrs of departure incurs 100% cancellation fees. Bookings cancelled between 24-48hrs incur 50% cancellation fees. Any cancellation made with more than 48hrs notice incur 0% fees.
